About the artist

Anat Nir is a filmmaker working in purpose-driven Jewish cinema, a graduate of the 'Koren' School for Jewish Cinema at Yad Binyamin, with close to a decade of work in the field. After years in public health, she discovered filmmaking as a way to bring to life the Jewish world she inhabits and draws inspiration from. Her short documentary film is screened alongside a live conversation with Anat and the film's subject — an experience that weaves together art, personal testimony, and dialogue. She is currently working on a full-length documentary.
